Events are taking place starting with the Parma Summer Fest, July 2008 and ending in August 2009.
Bicentennial Parade Cancelled
Although the Bicentennial Parade has been cancelled events are still being planned for the "Park It in Parma" Annual Celebration of Aug 7th & 8th. THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the planning and execution of the parade and floats. Mother Nature had different plans for our parade but your efforts have not gone unnoticed. THANK YOU for your time, energy and enthusiasm for this event!
The Town's Annual "Park it in Parma" Summer Celebration"

Commemoration of the First Annual Town Meeting Proclamation of April 4, 1809
Past "Archived" Events
As part of the Parma Bicentennial Celebration, the Parma Town Board commemorated the 200th anniversary of the first Town Board meeting at their April 7th meeting. Homer Marple read and presented a proclamation which included text from the minutes of the first meeting of April 4, 1809.
