Logo Contest Winning Design

The Parma Bicentennial Committee has chosen the Logo for the upcoming celebration of Parma's "200 YEARS OF FRUITFUL LIVING". The winning design was submitted by the Mother-Daughter team of Tina and Jamie Rizzo. However, it was a true family effort. Tina provided the concept of "Happy Apples" and Jamie, who has a degree in Art from Roberts Wesleyan College, supplied the artwork. Dad, Joe and brother, Chris helped to fine tune the design. The Rizzo Family has lived in Parma since 1985. We thank them for their gift to the community celebration
.
The committee had many submissions from which to choose. We applaud the efforts made by those participants whose logos were not chosen. We thank each of them for their willingness to make this a community effort.

The Town of Parma is celebrating its 200th birthday! Events are taking place starting with the Parma Summer Fest July 31st 2008 and ending in August 2009.
